“There’s one performer who steals the show: Sheila R. Rose, as Puck, the dream-weaving fairy who causes much of the trouble in the forest. At 4-feet, 8-inches with a childlike, helium-atic voice, Rose plays Puck with giggly abandon, more of a merry prankster than the mischievous but wise narrator that some productions dish out.” Review of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by The Arizona Tribune’s Theatre Critic, Chris Best.
Sheila R. Rose is a tiny, but mighty actress, voiceover artist and all around personality making her mark in Hollywood.
At the age of 13, Sheila was dubbed a “Bright Entity” by Artis The Spoonman on an autographed cassette cover he signed after she followed him around a musical festival all afternoon in the blistering heat. She has been living up to the name “Bright Entity” ever since.
Sheila began her career as a voiceover artist in San Francisco. She has voiced projects for Round Table Pizza, Sega Games, California Raisins and Leap Frog Toys.
Sheila moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Arizona where she became known as radio personality “Sassy Sheila” for Radio Disney 1580 AM in Phoenix, AZ. She created and starred in the weekly show “Peek-a-Boo Corner,” for 150+ kids.
Believing in the connecting power of storytelling, Sheila wrote and performed the solo piece “Unveiled” as part of the Teatro Caliente Festival. The story explores the subject of growing up as an Iranian-American in the United States.
Determined not to be just a cute face, Sheila moved to Southern California to attend UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business where she graduated with her MBA with an emphasis in Marketing. Now she is a smart cookie to boot!
Yet, her heart remains true to her one passion --- performing.
Most recently, She landed a role in the acclaimed “Most Interesting Man Alive” national commercial campaign for Dos Equis.
Whether performing behind a microphone, on a stage, or in front of a camera, Sheila brings an undeniable sense of passion and enthusiasm to every project she undertakes.
She is doll-like, sexy and a ball of energy all in one.
If you remember nothing else of this ridiculously long bio, remember this: Sheila never, ever leaves the house without her high-heeled wedges, big brand-name sunglasses and that famous Bright Entity smile.
Stay tuned because this little thing is making BIG things happen.
